Cape May Vacay!

In mid-September, Chris and I took a trip to Cape May, NJ to celebrate his 50th birthday a littel early. Being able to start traveling after all of these years and doing it together as a couple makes it so special and I'm so excited for more adventures to come! We absolutely loved Cape May and already can't wait to go back!

We've figured out a rhythm that works with my sleep schedule and ways to pace throughout the day. I will say that the hardest day for me was the trip to the Cape May Zoo because it involved so much standing time without much for breaks.

We lucked out with the weather, as the week after the El-Nino drenched the East Coast.

Highlights:

·      Cape May Whale Watch and Research Center boat tour—lots and lots of dolphins!

·      Beach Day!

·      Congress Hall for a drink in the Brown Room and breakfast at the Blue Pig

·      Cape May Zoo and feeding the giraffes!

·      Walking all the steps to the top of the Cape May Lighthouse

·      Cape May Monarchs tagging event where a butterfly was released from my nose!

·      Delicious food

·      Sunset on the Bay

·      Downtown Cape May
