Shana Tovah

Mom hosted us for dinner at her apartment to welcome in the New Year.

Last night, I attended services at the small lay-led synagogue that I have come to love and call my spiritual home. They have welcomed Chris and Hank with open arms and we are so thankful for that. It is not always easy to find spaces that welcome Hank, and this one does.

I've taken on the role of vice-president of the synagogue as a way to give back. My biggest role is doing what I love most--creating community.
